How do I establish a water account?
If you are a homeowner, you will need to bring the following into our office: Proof of ownership (deed, property tax bill or mortgage payment coupon, and $25 for the deposit on the trash container. If you are a renter, bring in your lease or rental agreement. There will also be a deposit if you are renting, however the fee varies. Contact our office for the current fee. In either case, you will need to bring in a valid picture U.S. ID as well as your social security card. Your deposit will be credited towards your account after six months provided your payments are on time.

Can I make payment arrangements on my water bill?
Yes. You will need to come into our office and sign up for an extension. We do not take extensions by phone. The deadline to sign up for the extension is the deadline for the delinquent bills. If you do not sign up for an extension and do not pay your bill by the delinquent due date, your services will be shut off. This is stated on the bottom of your delinquent bill.

My water was shut off for non-payment. How do I restore service?
Before service can be restored, a $50 reconnection fee plus your full balance must be paid.

How do I get a yard sale permit?
Prior to your yard sale, come into our office or print and fill out the application from our website. You are allowed 4 yard sales a year. The first two are $10 and the last two are $30. Please be aware that it is prohibited by law to post notices on utility poles.

How do I get a car wash permit?
Pick up an application from our office. These applications must be turned into our office 5 days prior to the car wash date. You have to be sponsored by a non-profit organization. Any business location is entitled to sponsor one car wash every three months.
6.
How do I get a dog license?
You must come into our office and bring the certificate of rabies vaccination from your veterinarian. The fee varies.
7.
How do I contest a parking ticket or make payment installments?
To make payment installments, you must come into City Hall within 21 days from the violation date and make arrangements. To contest a parking ticket you must go to the Police Department.
